In the town of Guruvayur in Kerala, India, there is a Hindu temple called the Guruvayur Sri Krishna Temple that is devoted to the Hindu deity Guruvayurappan. There are two mandapas in front of the temple, and the thalikettu will take place there after the procedure is complete.
