Sobhanachala Vyagra Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple Timings
Sodhanachala Vyagra Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple is in Agiripalli, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh state. This temple is 25Km from Vijayawada. Sri Maha Vishnu is the presiding deity worshipped as Sri Vyagra Narasimha Swamy and his consort Sri Maha Lakshmi. Sri Sobhanachaleswara Swamy is also known as the Sri Vyagra Lakshmi Narashima Swamy. According to Puranas, this temple was 4000 years old temple. There is some archaeological evidence to confirm the temple. Pushkarini was presented in this temple from the 15th century onwards. In 1561 A.C a devotee arranged the garden and the Bhoga Mantapam. These garden flowers were sent to Bhadrachalam Sita Rama Swamy in the olden days. There is no ghat road. You have to climb 740 steps to reach the temple.

In this temple, Varaha pushkarini (pond) was there were bugged by the Mahavishnu in his Adivaraha Avataram. It is also called Ananta Sarasu. This pushkarini water is only used for poojas at the temple. Agiripalli hill is calles as Kalyanadri in Kruta yugam, Subhachalam in Treta Yugam, Swapnasayla in Dwapara yugam and Sobhanadri in Kaliyugam.

Once upon a time, there was a king named Subhamatudu. he did penance regarding Lord Vishnu. Lord Vishnu has appeared in front of Subhamatudu. Subhamatudu asked Lord Vishnu to stay on his head along with his consort Mahalakshmi. Lord Vishnu told Subhamatudu to pray for Lord Siva to fulfill his wish. He did like that only as a result he take a shape like a Hill Which is called Sobhanachala. The wish of the sobhanachala Lord Vishnu and Lord Siva to stay on the hill.
