స్ఫురద్విద్యుద్వల్లీవలయితమగోత్సంగవసతిం
భవాప్పిత్తప్లుష్టానమితకరుణాజీవనవశాత్ ।
అవంతం భక్తానాముదయకరమంభోధర ఇతి
ప్రమోదాదావాసం వ్యతనుత మయూరోఽస్య సవిధే ॥ 1 ॥
సుబ్రహ్మణ్యో యో భవేజ్జ్ఞానశక్త్యా
సిద్ధం తస్మిందేవసేనాపతిత్వమ్ ।
ఇత్థం శక్తిం దేవసేనాపతిత్వం
సుబ్రహ్మణ్యో బిభ్రదేష వ్యనక్తి ॥ 2 ॥
పక్షోఽనిర్వచనీయో దక్షిణ ఇతి ధియమశేషజనతాయాః ।
జనయతి బర్హీ దక్షిణనిర్వచనాయోగ్యపక్షయుక్తోఽయమ్ ॥ 3 ॥
యః పక్షమనిర్వచనం యాతి సమవలంబ్య దృశ్యతే తేన ।
బ్రహ్మ పరాత్పరమమలం సుబ్రహ్మణ్యాభిధం పరం జ్యోతిః ॥ 4 ॥
షణ్ముఖం హసన్ముఖం సుఖాంబురాశిఖేలనం
సన్మునీంద్రసేవ్యమానపాదపంకజం సదా ।
మన్మథాదిశత్రువర్గనాశకం కృపాంబుధిం
మన్మహే ముదా హృది ప్రపన్నకల్పభూరుహమ్ ॥ 5 ॥
