The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Trust Board met under the chairman of YV Subba Reddy on Wednesday night at Annamaiah Bhavan and made a number of decisions.

Given that Vaikuntha Ekadasi falls on January 2, the TTD has made the decision to keep the Vaikuntha Dwara Darshanam or Uttara Dwara darshanam open for visitors for 10 days, from January 2 to 11, in the next new year of 2023. The temple trust has made the grand decision to celebrate Vaikunta Ekadasi on January 2, 2023, and Vaikunta Dwadasi the following day.

TTD would provide 25,000 tickets for the Sheegra darshanam, each costing Rs 300, while 50,000 free Sarva Darshan (SSD) tickets will be provided each day for all visitors. Beginning on January 1, the tickets will be distributed in three shifts. TTD officials announced that 2.5 lakh SED tickets and 5 lakh SSD tokens would be distributed to followers.

TTD Tirumala Vaikunta Ekadasi 2023 Free Darshan Tokens Offline Counters

• Beginning on January 1, the Tirupati counters will continuously issue offline SSD tokens till the five lakh quota has been reached.
• On December 1, the VIP Break Darshan will start at the Srivari temple between 7:30 and 8 in an experimentally, providing more precedence (important) to regular pilgrims to prevent their long waits for darshan.
• The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) are making elaborate preparations for the spectacular celebration of the auspicious “Vaikunta Ekadasi” on January 2, 2023.
• The TTD has decided to keep Lord Venkateswara’s temple’s “Vaikunta Dwaram,” the passageway encircling the innermost shrine, accessible for 10 days. The goal is to make it easier for more devotees to experience “Vaikunta Dwara Darshan.”
• Priority will be given to permitting darshan of the deity for the regular pilgrims.
• While 2.5 lakh Special Entry Darshan (SED) tickets, each costing rps 300, will be made available at 25,000 tokens a day, five lakh Slotted Sarva Darshan (SSD) tokens will be made accessible for the benefit of the common pilgrims over the 10-day period at 50,000 tokens a day.
• The TTD has chosen to limit the availability of SSD tokens to Tirupati because they feel that doing so will assist control the thronging crowds and prevent unneeded congregating( gather into crowd) on the town’s rooftops.
• On Ekadasi Day, only VIPs who arrive in person by themselves will be eligible no recommendation letters will be accepted. Additionally, nobody would be permitted to visit Kulasekhara Alwar Padi to see the deity.
• The general public will be permitted to see Maha Laghu darshan while VIPs will have easier access to “Laghu” darshan. On the morning of Ekadasi, a procession with a golden chariot and a Vishnu Sahasranama Parayan would be held, and the next day would be Chakrasnanam.
• Additionally, the TTD has stated that there are no limits on the part of pilgrims who seek to journey up to the holy town, but only those with proper darshan tokens will be permitted for darshan.
