Founder & Temple Heritage Researcher — Sri Vyasa Pooja

A founder who personally visits and documents temples across India — bringing devotees verified darshan timings, festival dates, and pooja guidance.

About Sri Vyasa Pooja

Namaste, I’m Praveen — the founder of Sri Vyasa Pooja and a lifelong devotee dedicated to documenting India’s living temple traditions. What began as personal pilgrimages to temples across South India grew into a mission: to give every devotee clear, accurate, first-hand guidance for their own journeys.

Over the years I have visited and researched temples from Tirumala and Srisailam to Kukke Subramanya and Vijayawada’s Kanaka Durga — noting darshan timings, seva and pooja procedures, accommodation, and festival dates, then verifying them against official temple sources. I started this site because I kept seeing pilgrims rely on outdated or confusing information, and I wanted to bridge ancient devotional practice with the practical needs of modern travel and worship.

My belief is simple: spirituality isn’t separate from everyday life — it is woven through the rituals, festivals, and sacred places that have guided us for centuries. Whether you are planning your first darshan, observing a vratham at home, or learning the meaning behind a pooja, I hope this space helps you approach it with clarity, devotion, and confidence.

What I Write About

  • Temple darshan & seva guides — timings, tickets, and step-by-step procedures, verified against official temple sources.
  • Hindu festivals & vrathas — accurate dates, significance, and complete pooja vidhanam you can follow at home.
  • Pilgrimage planning — accommodation, travel, and practical tips for major temples across India.
  • Devotional traditions — the meaning and method behind rituals, stotrams, and ceremonies.

Our Commitment to Accuracy

Temple timings, seva costs, and festival dates change. Every guide on this site is reviewed and updated against official temple and Devasthanam sources, and we welcome corrections from fellow devotees. If you spot anything outdated, please let us know — accuracy is a shared act of seva.
