This temple is dedicated to The Sri Sita Ramachandraswamy, which is located in South India on the banks of the Godavari River in the town of Bhadrachalam. As per Valmiki Ramayana, Rama is the incarnation of Lord Vishnu who is the supreme power of all Hindu gods. He is the elder son of King Dasaratha, But there is no information about Badrachalam in Valmiki Ramayana. Sacred town Bhadrachalam also simply referred to as Bhadradri. This temple is considered one of the Divya Kshetrams of Sri Vaishnava Sampradaya & also known as Dakshina Ayodhya. Here Lord Rama appeared as Vaikuntha Rama with four hands having Shankha & Chakra as Lord Vishnu. And also Sita and Lakshmana form part of the temple’s Moola Murthy of Ramachandra.
