The day after Naraka Chaturdashi is Diwali. During the Asura Sandhya, Varahaswamy and Bhudevi have a son named Naraka. • It is advisable to rise early and take a bath. It is preferable to wear clean clothes if you aren’t wearing fresh ones. Don’t drink alcohol and don’t sleep during the day.
• Home preparations should include placing arches on doorposts and working on decorating and shipping a god figure.
• A red color cloth should be set out in the home’s puja mandir, and the kalasham should be placed with thread and fitted with a coconut.
• It’s time to post images of the goddess Lakshmi. Amma needs to accessorize (decorate) them with red bangles, a wooden comb, a bite mirror, and other items.
• It is recommended to do abhishekam using panchamrita, which includes cow’s milk, cow’s curd, cow’s ghee, honey, and sugar.
• Coconut, bananas, plantains (a fruit similar to a banana), and panchaphalam, or five different types of fruits, are the offerings that should be presented to Amma.
• In the puja mandir at home, a crimson red color cloth should be spread, grain should be added, the Kalasham should be embellished (adding decoration) with thread, and coconut should be placed.
• Posting images of Goddess Lakshmi is necessary.
