Kashi Vishwanath Sparsh Darshan Timings
Lord Shiva is honored at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, which is a well-known Hindu temple. It is in Vishwanath Gali in the Indian city of Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The temple is on the western side of the holy river Ganga. It is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, the holiest Shiva temples, and is one of the twelve places where the sun rises. Dress code to be followed in Holy Kashi Vishwanath temple:
- The ancient Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi, India, has decided that people who want to enter the sanctum sanctorum for “sparsh darshan” must follow a “dress code” (offering prayer by touching Jyotirlinga). Men and women both have to follow the new dress code.
- Men devotees have to wear dhoti-kurta, and women devotees will have to wear saree.
