It predates the Kandariya Mahadev by a little bit.

This temple was first dedicated, most likely, to Lord Vishnu; but, at a later date, it was re-dedicated to Maa Parvati, and then again, to Kali. One of the most elaborately adorned temples in Khajuraho may be seen within this shrine, which can be found in the direction of the north.
Within the temple’s inner sanctuary, also known as the Garbha Griha, there is a massive figure of the goddess Devi. This temple is one of the oldest in the Khajuraho complex. This temple features a cross layout, but there is only one set of balconies, only one mandapa, and no Pradakshina walk on the inside.

In comparison to the Kandariya Mahadev Temple, this temple, which is part of the Western Group of Temples, has exquisite carvings on a more modest platform and finely proportioned architecture overall. It seems that the representations of the deities were serving a purpose beyond that of simple adornment when they were built into prominent locations on the outside of the temple.
