Satyanarayana is the Lord of the Truth, who is present in everyone and everything. The Satyanarayan Puja involves the worship of Lord Vishnu in order to overcome obstacles and troubles in one’s life caused by the deeds of the previous birth and other causes. Devotees pray to Lord Satyanarayana for His blessings by being truthful to themselves and others. The Puja is primarily performed to obtain Satyanarayana’s heavenly blessings for good health, prosperity, abundance, opulence, money, sickness relief, and education.

Sri Satyanarayana Swamy Vratha Katha Pooja Vidhanam Telugu PDF
The Satyanarayan Katha, written in the Skanda Purana, tells the narrative of a Brahmin who was approached by Lord Vishnu in disguise and advised to perform the Satyanarayan Vrat Puja. When the Brahmin performed this rite, he obtained endless happiness and heavenly consciousness.
After performing this Puja, devotees not only seek Lord Vishnu’s blessings but also achieve other significant manifestations in life. There is also a notion that persons who faithfully perform this Puja in their homes on a continual basis will be transported to Lord Vishnu’s abode, Vaikunth, after death.
Satyanarayan Puja is also conducted during a variety of other events or situations, including:
- Griha Pravesh Puja, or housewarming ceremony
- Marriage rituals
- Business success
- Ceremony of Namakaran
- New ventures are being launched.
- Long-term sickness relief
Vratha vidhanam of Sri Satyanarayana Swamy:
- Take a thorough bath from head to toe in the morning, then dress in clean clothes for the Puja.
- If feasible, observe a fast.
- Maintain all of the Puja samagri near the mandapam where the Puja will be done.
- If possible, clean the area around the mandapam with cow dung.
- Decorate your home’s main entryway with fortunate mango leaves.
- The mandapam should be placed east-west, and the devotee should face east during the Puja.
- Use rice flour and rangoli colors to create flower designs on the mandapam.
- On the mandapam, spread a white cloth with rice.
- In the center of the mandapam, place a silver, brass, clay, or copper Kalash. Fill it with holy water after adding a rupee coin, betel nut, and wheat. Wrap the coconut in a cloth and place it on top.
- 5 Ashok or Mango leaves should be placed around the coconut. Tie a red thread or mauli in three rounds around the pot’s neck. Make a Swastika sign on the pot for positive energy.
- On the mandapam, keep a framed image of Lord Satyanarayana.
- Fill the frame with floral garlands.
- Place the banana tree leaves on both sides of the mandapam.
- Begin your Puja by paying homage to Lord Ganesha.
- Give Lord Satyanarayan a yellow flower garland.
- Offer Lord Satyanarayan five dried fruits, five fruits, yellow cloth, naivedya, and Tulsi dal.
- Start the story or Katha of Lord Satyanarayan by lighting the ghee lamp.
- Begin aarti after the katha is finished.
- Give Lord Satyanarayan yellow sweets.
- Carry out the Havana.
- By chanting Gayatri Mantra, place Gogul, rice, and havan samagri in the havan.
- After Havana, feed eleven Brahmins and present them with garments, a black blanket, gold, sesame seeds, and money (Dakshina). You can also feed a Brahmin or Pandit and give him Dakshina. Please feed the cow after the pooja.
