Goddess Saraswati was also created by Lord Brahma, the universe’s creator. It follows that She is also referred to as Lord Brahma’s daughter. Along with being referred to as Goddess Saraswati, she is also called Goddess Gayatri and Goddess Savitri.

From the lips of Lord Brahma, Bhagawati Saraswati was conceived. Thus, she was elevated to the status of the Goddess of speech, music, and learning. Many religious writings identify Goddess Saraswati as Lord Brahma’s consort since it is widely held that the latter was charmed with the beauty of the former and longed to wed Her.

The name Vaagish, which translates to “Lord of Speech and Sound,” is another name for Lord Brahma, who is the spouse of the goddess Saraswati. Maa Saraswathi represents scholarship, music, the arts, wisdom, and knowledge. She is a member of the Saraswati, Lakshmi, and Parvati trinity. The universe is created, maintained, and destroyed (to regenerate) by Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh with the assistance of this trinity. Goddess Saraswati is Lord Brahma’s wife, according to Devi Bhagwat. She resides at the Brahmaputra, Lord Brahma’s home.

The third and last day of Saraswati Puja during Navratri is known as Saraswati Visarjan. Saraswati Udvasan is another name for Saraswati Visarjan. Saraswati Puja is celebrated in Goa, Maharashtra, and Karnataka from Maha Saptami through Vijayadashami with Saraswati Udasan or Visarjan.

In Goa, Maharashtra, and Karnataka, it is observed with considerable fervor and excitement. On Maha Saptami, Saraswati Avatar marks the beginning of the festival, and on Vijayadashami, Saraswati Udasan or Visarjan marks its conclusion. Saraswati Visarjan Day is the fourth and last day of Saraswati Puja during Navratri. Saraswati Udvasan is another name for Saraswati Visarjan. For the Lord, both poojas are significant. By immersing the Maa Saraswati idol in any body of flowing water, such as a lake, river, or sea, the Maa Saraswati incarnation is returned to its natural state.
