Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy Temple Appalayagunta Timings

It is believed that a man named Appalayya dug a ditch in the area for the purpose and since then the place has been known as Appalayya Ditch which has become known as Appalagunta over time. It is additionally propagated that the place got its name from the fact that Appalayya used to pay daily wages to those who worked during the digging of the sock without paying any wages.
