TTD Accommodation:
The temple management of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam has added a few amendments with impact from January 1, 2011, to ensure extra transparency in the allotment of accommodation to pilgrims. TTD has enforced a penalty on accommodation for those pilgrims who do not vacate the rooms within 24 hours. If the pilgrim fails to vacate the room within 24 hours then he must pay a stronger hire of 200% after forty-eight hours, 400% after seventy-two hours. There are several big choultries with free rooms for households to live in affordable comfort. Electricity and water are furnished free of charge. For unfastened lodging, pilgrims may also touch the Central Reception Office, close to the bus stand in Tirumala. Pilgrims also can relax in Dormitory Halls provided by TTD.
