New Year’s is among the busiest days of the year in Tirumala. On January 1, New Year’s Day, the Tirumala shrine is constantly crowded with visitors. A sizable throng is anticipated on this day because the Vakunta Ekadasi event is always held before or after New Year’s Day. There will therefore be a large crowd at the Tirumala shrine for this reason. On the first day of the new year in Tirumala, pilgrims must be prepared for the Darshan.

2023 Tirumala New Year Darshan Timings:

  • The TTD has decided to cancel all of the Seva at the Tirumala temple on New Year’s Day. Both the pilgrim service and the accompanying Darshan will not be provided on these days. On January 1, pilgrims cannot register for the Seva online.
  • Additionally, only pilgrims who reserve the Rs 300 Darshan in advance online will be eligible for the Special Darshan. On this day, there will also be a larger line for the Special Darshan.
  • At the Tirumala temple, special darshan can only be reserved online; offline special darshan bookings are not permitted.
  • The Free Darshan wait time will be longer than 24 hours on New Year’s Day. The same thing should be expected of the pilgrims.
  • Senior persons, individuals with impairments, non-resident Indians, and VIPs will not be permitted to attend the Special Privileged Darshan.

TTD Tirumala 2023 New Year Special Darshan Online Booking

  1. To purchase tickets for Special Entry Darshan, click the “Special Entry Darshan (Rs. 300)” link.
  2. When the allotted amount of time has passed in the virtual queue, the login page will become available.
  3. Click the “Generate OTP” box after entering your phone number and the code you can see on the screen.
  4. Click the “Login” button after entering the six-digit OTP in the OTP box.
  5. After reading the Covid-19 declaration form, select “I Agree” to continue.
  6. There will be a calendar on the new website where you may select the dates and times you want to visit the temple for darshan.
  7. The green color indicates that there are still openings, the yellow color indicates that seats are filling up quickly, the blue color indicates that the ticket limit has not yet been established, and the red color indicates that the darshan on that date is already completely booked.
  8. You can enter the requested information, such as the number of attendees, the number of extra laddus, or the number of rooms required, after selecting the date and time.
  9. On the new screen, enter your personal information as prompted, and when finished, click “Continue.”
  10. Use Internet Banking, a credit card, a debit card, an ATM card, or UPI to pay for the ticket online. Avoid refreshing the page when making a payment to avoid having your transaction reversed.
  11. The TTD online ticket of your choice will be held once payment has been completed.
