Interesting things in Mangalgiri temple:

The most important thing in this temple is people used to offer Honey in Krutayugha, Ghee in Dhwaparayugha, Milk in Thretayugha, and Jaggery water also called Panakam in Khaliyuga. Pilgrims will offer panakam to the god by opening the mouth of God. Only half of the Panakam will be taken by god and the remaining half of the water will come out of the god’s mouth and this water will be given to the pilgrims to the devotees as the Swamy Vari prasadam. There will not be any ants or anything in that water as much as you have this prasadam.
