Located in Nalgonda District in the state of Telangana, Yadagirigutta or Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple or Yadadri temple is the place of Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy who is the deity of Lord Vishnu. The name Yadagirigutta came from the fact that the temple is situated on a small elevation surrounded by lush greens. Yadagirigutta Temple is crowded with pilgrims throughout the year and hence the temple is depicted as one the most visited place in the state of Telangana.

According to the Skanda Purana, Yada Maharishi, son of the revered Maharshi Rishyasringa, offered penance to Lord Vishnu as Narasimha here. Lord appeared before him, pleased with his penance, and manifested himself in five forms: Jwaalaa Narasimha, Gandabheranda Narasimha, Yogananda Narasimha, Ugra Narasimha, and Lakshmi Narasimha. Yada Maharishi begged Narasimha to stay on the hill in these forms. As a result, the Lakshmi-Narasimhadeva temple on the hilltop contains deities of Narasimha in all five forms embedded in stone in the main cave. Historically, the temple has adhered to the Thenkalai tradition of the Vaishnava Agama Shastras, as practiced in South India.

Yadagirigutta Temple VIP Darshan Tickets Online Booking Daily Time

Yadagirigutta Temple executives initiated a new Darshan facility- the VIP Darshan which became effective in November 2022. This Darshan system was introduced for all the VIP and VVIP devotees twice a day on a daily basis. Devotees with recommendation letters from higher officials and elected representatives can also avail this darshan opportunity.

• The ticket cost for the VIP Darshan is Rs.300 per person
• Every day, a total of 200 tickets will be issued at the temple.
• The devotees will be allowed for the Break darshan for an hour between 9 AM -10 AM and 4 PM -5 PM
• Pilgrims will be allowed from the north side of Rajagopuram to avail of this darshan.
