Lord Muruga, the most prominent god in the Kaumaram faith, has two wives: Valli and Deivanai. As a result, Muruga devotees perform two Thirukalyanams: Valli Murugan Thirukalyanam and Deivanai Murugan Thirukalyanam. 2022 Skanda Sashti Murugan Thirukalyanam Dates and Timings
- Thirukalyanam will be held on October 31, 2022.
- Murugan Thirukalyanam 2022 gets underway at 5 p.m.
Thirukalyanam Performing Method:
- The Tiruchendur Temple opens at 3 a.m. on Thirukalyanam and offers pujas.
- Deivanai Ambal then traveled to the location where he would conduct his penance at 5 a.m.
- The main event will take place around 6:30 p.m. when Murugan and Deivanai will exchange garlands.
- They both arrive in the chariot procession after that, and the Thirukalyana Vaipavam takes place in the temple hall while people recite Vedic mantras.
