The Thillai Nataraja Temple, also known as the Chidambaram Nataraja Temple, is a Hindu temple dedicated to Nataraja, the Lord of Dance, a manifestation of Shiva. Chidambaram Arudra Darshan 2023:

The Arudra Darisanam celebration honors Lord Shiva in the form of the dancer Nataraja. It takes place on the longest night of the year, which also happens to be a full moon day in the Tamil month of Margazhi (which falls between the middle of December and the middle of January), and is ruled over by Thiruvadirai, “the red star” (Arudra).
