Gruhapravesha, House warming, New vehicle Purchase, and gold purchase are usually done during this time. Because it is believed that this will bring new house entry and vehicle, gold purchase yoga again.

However, during Gulika, the body of the dead person should not be taken from the house to the shrine. And the funeral should not be held. Because the work to be done in Guliga Kala will be repeated again. So, doing death rituals is not good and not done.

As like death rituals, another interesting thing about Gulika Kala is that the marriage ceremony is not done during this time. Because marriage comes only once in a lifetime. If done during the Kala, that pair might be not happy and chance to get married again by others.
