How to Reach Puri Jagannath Temple From Hyderabad

It takes about 22 hours to get to Puri by train and 1065 km by car.

1. Fly from Hyderabad to Puri:

Since Puri does not have an airport, there are no direct flights to the city. But Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneshwar, which is only 53 km from Puri, is the closest airport. You can take a cab, a taxi, or a local bus from here.

3. By bus from Hyderabad to Puri

You can’t take a bus straight from Hyderabad to Puri. But there are sleeper buses that can take you to Bhubaneshwar, Brahmapur, Ichchapuram, and Chatrapur, where you can catch a bus to Puri. Prices for tickets start at INR 2100 and can go up from there.

4. By car from Hyderabad to Puri

This might be the least convenient way to get to Puri. But major tourist destinations like Visakhapatnam and Nagpur are on these roads, so a road trip to Puri could be a possibility.
