Sri Satya Narayana vratam is the easiest and simplest pooja performed by Hindus. - Turmeric and kumkum
- Nava Danya or 9 pulses
- A framed photo of Sri Satya Narayana Swamy
- Agarbathi sticks
- Camphor/karpuram

- Two kalasam

Sri Satya Narayana Swamy Pooja procedure
- Clean the place where pooja is being performed thoroughly with water.
- Place the photo of Sri Satya Narayana Swamy above everyone’s sitting position and light up oil/ghee lamps.
- The priest/poojari will start pooja with Vinayaka pooja followed by Sri Satya Narayana Swamy pooja.
- The priest/poojari will then continue with the Sri Satya Narayana Swamy Vari Katha, a collection of short stories of Lord Vishnu.
- Then the homam(fire ritual) will be performed.
- By the end of the pooja, prasadam made of Rava (semolina), ghee, and panchamrutham, a mixture of milk, curd, any fruit, ghee, honey is distributed to everyone.
