Tiruchanoor, one of the oldest pilgrim towns situated 5 KM from Tirupati, is the residence of Goddess Sri Padmavathi Devi, Lord Venkateswara’s loving wife. This pilgrimage site is also called Alimelumangapuram or Alamelumangapuram (Alar-Lotus, Mel-top, Manga-Goddess, Puram-town). According to temple mythology, when Goddess Mahalakshmi appeared as Padmavathi Devi on the golden lotus in the center of Padma Sarovaram-the temple tank, this location got known as “Alarmelmangapuram.”

Tiruchanur Padmavathi Temple Darshan Timings

Pilgrims have a strong conviction that they should pay a visit to Padmavathi and seek Her heavenly blessings before seeing Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala during their journey.

Tiruchanoor Padmavathi Devi Temple timings on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays:

  • Time of temple opening: 4:50 a.m.
  • Timings for Sarva Darshan: 5:25 a.m. until 8:45 p.m.
  • Archana Kumkum 12:30 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.
  • Temple closure time: 9:30 p.m.

Friday Hours at Tiruchanoor Padmavathi Devi Temple:

  • The temple opens at 3:30 AM
  • 5:30 AM to 7:00 AM Abhishekam
  • Darshan Sarva 7:00 AM to 08:45 PM
  • Archana Kumkum 12:30 PM to 04:45 PM
  • Temple closure time: 09:30 PM
  • At 4:50 AM The Temple Ticket Counter opens.
  • Seva tickets may be bought in advance or on the day of the event.

Seva Timings of Tiruchanoor Padmavathi Devi Temple:

  • On Fridays, Abhishekam will be done at a fee of Rs.400 per participant.
  • On Fridays, Vastralankarana Seva will be done at a fee of Rs.1000 per household.
  • For Abhishekam and Vastralankara Seva tickets, Id proof must be submitted at the counter a day in advance.
  • Every day from 12:30 p.m. to 4:45 p.m., Kumkum Archana will be done at a fee of Rs.200 per individual.
  • Tiruppavada, which costs Rs.600 per person, will be conducted on Thursdays.
  • On Mondays, Astadalapada Padmaradhanamu will be conducted for Rs.300 per person.
  • Devotees are welcome to participate in the Ekantha Seva. The cost of a ticket is Rs.25 per person. Tickets must be bought at the ticket desk.

Timings for Darshan at Tiruchanoor Padmavathi Devi Temple:

  • 5:25 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
  • Hours of Operation: 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Evening hours are from 7:00 p.m. until 8:45 p.m.

The temple is also open in the afternoon. During Naivedyam, there will be a Darshan break. On exceptional occasions, the above-mentioned Tiruchanur Temple hours may vary. Sat, Sun, Public Holidays, Navaratri, Varalakshmi Vratham day, Vaikunta Ekadasi, Vaikunta Dwadasi, 1Jan, Ugadi, and other festivals days would be crowded.
