Varaha Swamy Temple was built by Pedda Tirumalacharya in the year 1535 AD. This Temple is part of Tirumala Venkateshwara Swamy temple and is being administered by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams. Tirumala is also known as Aadi Varaha Kshetra, as lord varaha, varaha swamy is another avatar of lord Vishnu is the Actual palaka of Tirumala. This temple is situated at Tirumala in Tirupati, Tirupati district of the state of Andhra Pradesh. on Tirumala, this temple is situated on the northern premises of Venkateswara Swamy temple, on the northwest corner of  Swami Pushkarini and accessed from North Mada Street of Venkateswara temple. Venkateshwara Swamy has permitted lord Varaha to stay in Tirumala, on a condition that Whoever Visits Lord Venkateshwara Swamy should visit Lord Varaha, and also the Naivedyam offered to Lord Venkateshwara Swamy should be offered to Lord Varaha first. the Idol here is the lord  Aadi Varaha Swamy And hence Tirumala is also known as Aadi Varaha Kshetra.

Festivals and Pooja held in Sri Varaha Swamy Temple:

Daily rituals are held as per vaikanasa Agama. During the Annual Brahmatsavams Chakrasnanam event, Vaikunta Dwadasi, Varaha Jayanti is also celebrated and Rathasapthami will be held at the Mukha mandapa of Varahaswamy Temple.

Darshan Timings of Sri Varaha Swamy Temple:

The Temple was opened at 5:30 Am and the closing timing is 9:00 Pm With small breaks of Naivedhyam and other proceedings.
