The Kudroli Gokarnanatha Temple was originally built for Shiva in accordance with the popular Nath tradition of the area. A Hindu sub-sect practiced Nath traditions, which integrated Buddhist, Shaivist, and Hatha Yoga ideas. The Nath tradition was created by Matsyendranath.

Kudroli temple Mangalore Dasara Dates and Timings:

Durga Puja is one of the longest Hindu festivals, lasting nine days and being celebrated with great fervor and splendor. Shardiya Navratri, during which Maa Durga’s nine incarnations are venerated, will inaugurate the vacation season.

The first day of shardiya Navratri will take place on September 26, 2022. Durga Puja is observed on the ninth and last day of Navaratri. To exhibit reverence and devotion, the idol of Maa Durga is immersed in rivers or other bodies of water, and the festival lasts from Shasthi to Dashami.

This year, Durga Puja 2022 will occur from October 1 to October 5.

At the end of these nine days, Durga Puja and Dussehra are observed. Shardiya Navratri begins on the Pratipada of the Shukla Paksha in the month of Ashwin, according to the Hindu calendar.

Dasara in Mangalore:
