• On this Chaitra Purnima day, doing holy bathing, Prayer, Pooja, Havan, chanting Stotra, doing Vrat, and Worshiping Lord Satyanarayana gives good results.
• Before dawn on this day, take a bath in a Bawadi, well, or reservoir that is considered sacred. Chant Surya Mantra and then offer Argh to the Sun God.
• Make a commitment to fast and pay homage to Lord Satyanarayana.
• After performing ritualistic nighttime worship of Chandra Deva (Moon God), present him with water.

Importance of Vaishakh Snan on Chaitra Purnima:

Chaitra Purnima marks the start of Vaishakh Snan. Chaitra Purnima marks the end of the Vaishakh month. In other words, the beginning of all auspicious rites conducted during the Vaishakh month occurs on the Purnima Tithi. The Vaishakh Snan is the first auspicious ritual to be conducted. This keeps happening the entire month. The Skanda Purana explains the significance of Vaishakh Snan. Lord Krishna himself discusses the significance of the Vaishakh month. According to him, everyone who engages in Snans, fasts, chants, charity, and other religious practices throughout the full month of Vaishakh receives the blessings of Lord Vishnu. The individual eventually finds salvation.
