Temple construction was started many years ago by Chalukya Western King of the Empire of Vijayanagaram. Here the idol of Narasimha is with 8 hands by killing HIranyakashipu. This is locally called Asta Bahu Narasimha. The name of the Temple is the Sanskrit word which means Indian Mulberry which is a kind of Wood. This temple is divine for Hindu people. Kadari was defined in Brahmanda Puranam too. It is referred to as Veda Vyasa and has been designated the Gurukulam in the region to be away from the Devil or Demon Attacks. Annual Rathothasam is conducted here in a Grand Manner.
