Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Suprabatha Seva Booking Info
Suprabhatam is the most significant seva performed at the Lord Venkateswara temple before sunrise. In the inner sanctuary, at the Sayana Mandapam, devotees recite vedic hymns to rouse the Lord from His rest in heaven. A descendant of Tallapaka Annamacharya sings some of the saint poet’s songs glorifying Lord Venkateswara while acharyapurushas recite the hymns starting with “Kausalya Supraja Rama Purva Sandhya Pravarthathe” before the main deity at Bangaru Vakili.
“Good Morning” translates directly from Sanskrit as “Suprabhatam.” This hymn is divided into four parts: the “Suprabhatam,” “Stotram,” “Prapatti,” and “Mangalasasanam.” The Lord is “awakened from His divine sleep” in the 29-sloka composition known as Suprabhatam. Each of the 11 slokas in a stotram is a prayer to God. “Prapatti,” which means “total surrender” to the Lord, consists of sixteen verses.
There are 14 verses to the praise song known as the Mangalasasanam. Suprabhatam was composed by Prativadi Bhayankara Annan, a disciple of the great Vaishnava Preceptor Manavala Mamuni, and has a total of seventy slokas. The Bhoga Srinivasa Murthy (a silver replica of the main deity also known as “Dhruva Beram”), who had been resting in the “Sayana Mantapa” until the arjitha seva was finished, is brought back to the “Garbha Griha” to resume His daily duties.

Suprabhatam’s tickets are sold to the early-rising archakas, jeeyangars, temple authorities, and Grihastha pilgrims who come to worship the Lord and find solace in their first glimpse of His indescribable Divine Charm. When you are done with the ‘Suprabhatam,’ you may immediately leave Bangaru Vakili unlocked. More than thirty minutes are spent on the ritual itself.
Suprabhata seva is not permitted in Dhanurmasa. Instead, a performance of the Tamil poetry Tiruppavai takes place at this time. It is highly recommended that devotions to Lord Venkateswara be performed during Suprabhatam. Suprabhata Seva appointments are currently being taken.
From now until September 2016, you may reserve one of 50 available spots via the CRO office on a first-come, first-served basis. The TTD board has allocated these very limited tickets using Random Electronic Lucky Dip to guarantee that all devotees have a fair opportunity at securing one. However, those who pre-submit a DD for a Seva ticket will be included in a lottery for that ticket.
