An interfaith, intercommunity Hindu celebration called Chaitra Pournami is celebrated on Purnima Day of the Chaitra month. It is commemorated on the full moon day in the month of Chithirai, which falls on a day in April or May according to the Gregorian calendar, and is celebrated throughout South Asia.
The Chitra Full Moon in Libra is known as the Moon of “Balancing Karma.” The energies of “Abundance” and “Regeneration” are added to this energy by the Chitra star. The Moon is therefore brimming with good and inventive energy on this day when it shines on Earth, energies that are powerful in eradicating the bad karma that prevents you from enjoying prosperity, health, and relationships. On this day, meditation can also help you achieve spiritual enlightenment, particularly the type of meditation that includes connecting your subtle body’s crown and heart chakras.
