The primary entry of the sanctuary has a Kalabhairavar god on its left side and the Mahishasura Mardini divinity on the right. On the focal point of the entry, you can see a gigantic Dwajasthampa. Moving further to the entry of the Kamakshi divinity you can see a Vinayaga god. Goddess Kamakshi is the principal god and the sanctuary is one of the 51 Shakti peetas. 

The Goddess likewise has Varahi, Arupalakshmi Kalvarperumal (one of the 108 Divya Desam of Vaishanavities), Roopalakshmi, and Arthanariswarar divinities encompassing the Sanctorum of Goddess on its Gayatri Mandapam. There is Santhanasthampam inside the prakaram of the Goddess which is known as the Nabisthan of the Goddess. The Temple has an exhibition of Adisankarcharya’s Life history inside the sanctuary premises itself.

Temple will be open from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM. There will be an Abhishekam at 5:30 AM Morning.
