Tirupati Science center is a famous area in City. Located on the Alipiri-Zoo Park Road in Tirupati near Tirumala foothills, The Regional Science Center is one of the popular destinations to explore while visiting Tirumala. Regional Science Center Tirupati(RSCT) is an integral unit of the National Council of Science Museums (NCSM) which is under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. The Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum, Bangalore directly administers the Regional Science Center Tirupati. In 1993, Regional Science Center Tirupati was offered as a gift to the nation by the then Honorable President of India, Dr.Shanker Dayal Sharma.

At Present, The center has 6 different permanent display galleries, named Fun Science, Popular Science, Emerging Technology, Our Universe, Our Senses, and Illusion. The Center features other facilities such as a 3D Film exposition, Prehistoric Life Park, Science Park, and Science Shows, especially for students.

The RSCT outdoor science park is full of lush green lawns spreading over an area of 5 acres. The center also exhibits a Prehistoric Life Park, a Herb garden, and an animal corner. It conducts different community training programs for different categories of society like the Science Awareness Programme, Commemorative events such as Birth anniversaries of famous scientists, Celestial and astronomical events, and Special days like World Environment Day, and Engineer’s Day throughout the year.

Regional Science is open from 9:30 AM TO 6:00 PM from Monday through Saturday. On Sundays, it is open from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM. The Science Centre is open every day all over the year except at festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi and Deepavali.
