Online Rope Car Booking details:

          Sholingur Temple is located at the top of 750 ft-high hills and is currently reachable only by climbing 1,305 steps.  So that the Sholingur Temple Management has decided to establish Rope Car Booking System in this temple to help pilgrims. The trail for this system has been reviewed by P.K. Sekhar Babu, who is the minister of the Hindu Religion and Charity Department. The work has begun in the year 2016 and they had expected that the work would be finished in the next 3 months of that date.  It had become operational due to some of the safety certifications.

      The Temple and the Idol of Sholingur Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Are at the hilltop and other idols related to this temple are at the footer of the hills.  During Bramhotsavam and other crowded times, it is difficult for the management and pilgrims to go to this temple by climbing up the hills and carrying the pooja items to the top of the hill. By keeping this Rope car it becomes easier for the pilgrims to darshan the Narasimha Swamy. It also becomes easier for the management to carry the daily pooja items to the top of the hill. Once this was completed it reduces the time and effort of the people.

       Once completed, the service will reduce the difficulty and saves the time for devotees to reach the temple this cable-car system will have eight coaches, and 4 coaches work in one direction and remain working in opposite direction. The contract for this project is given to a Kolkata-based firm at the cost of 9.30 crore.

Sholingur Temple Darshan Timings:

• Temple opens at 5:00 AM and closes at 12:00 PM.
• Temple again opens at 4:00 PM and closes at 9:00 PM.
• Daily pooja timings of Sholingur Anjaneya Swamy Temple Are from 6:00 AM to 12:30 PM, and 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
