Yadagirigutta is properly connected by both rail and road. It is set fifty-five km from Uppal, a main suburb of Hyderabad, and sixty-five km from Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station at Hyderabad. A new bus stand is constructed on 15 acres, as part of the brand new temple development. The proposed Hyderabad Regional Ring Road passes via Yadagirigutta. The nearest railway stations are Raigiri approximately five km away and Bhuvanagiri, the main city in Hyderabad Metropolitan Region approximately thirteen km away.

Raigir railway station has been renamed Yadadri by South Central Railway in line with the brand new nomenclature of the temple city. The Hyderabad MMTS – Phase II is planned, to be prolonged from Ghatkesar to Raigir station, which is five km from Yadagirigutta. A metro train is proposed between Uppal and Yadagirigutta.
