Kanchi temple is the most visited temple by the pilgrims who are devotees of Lord Kamakshi. The temple is the abode of Goddess Kamakshi, the incarnation of Parvathi. Every year, lakhs of pilgrims are going to be visiting the Kanchi temple for the Darshan. The temple is typically less crowded on the weekdays and through weekends the crowd is going to be more. throughout the festival season and auspicious days, the temple is going to be having a lot of crowds than expected.
The pilgrims need to follow the main points regarding the Kanchi temple timings daily. generally, the temple is going to be closed for the pilgrims throughout the festivals or any special rituals. The rituals will not be held for the entire day.

Kanchi Kamakshi Temple Darshan Timings Pooja details
- Sunday: 5:30am-12pm, 4-8pm
- Monday: 5:30am-12pm, 4-8pm
- Tuesday: 5:30am-12pm, 4-8pm
- Wednesday: 5:30 am-12 pm, 4-8 pm
- Thursday: 5:30am-12pm, 4-8pm
- Friday: 5:30am-12pm, 4-8pm
- Saturday: 5:30am-12pm, 4-8pm
Usually, the daily timings for the temple are from morning 5.30 AM. The temple is going to be opened at 5.30 AM. then the initial pooja and seva for the Lord, the pilgrims are going to be allowed for Darshan as shortly as possible. but the pilgrims won’t be allowed for normal Darshan as soon as the temple is opened.
After finishing the initial rituals only the pilgrims are going to be allowed for the Darshan. Then the temple will be open until 12 pm in the afternoon. In the afternoon at 12 PM, the temple is going to be closed for the Darshan of the pilgrims. Then the temple will be reopened at 4 PM and also the pilgrims will be instantly allowed to the Darshan. If the pilgrims enter the queue at 12 pm then the pilgrims need to wait until 4 Pm for Darshan itself. after opening in the evening the pilgrims are going to be allowed for Darshan until the 8 PM queue. After 8 PM the temple is going to be closed for the Darshan of the pilgrims.
