Sakshi Bhavanarayana Swamy Temple Timings

Sakshi Bhagavanarayana Swamy Temple is situated at a range of 28 Km from the Town Guntur. This temple is allotted to Lord Vishnu. On this temple compound goddess, Rajyalakshmi is additionally present. Rathostavam is the most important festival which is celebrated royally in this temple. History of Ponnur  Bhavanarayana Swamy Temple:-

According to history, there lived a brahmin named Kesavaiah. He doesn’t have kids. So he becomes frequently traveled to the temple along with him Kindperson named govindudu. In the temple surroundings, kesaviah had promised govindudu that he will marry her daughter with him. After a long time by god’s grace, a baby girl was born to him and named Akka Lakshmi. When Akka Lakshmi was in the age of marriage govindudu proposed that he want to marry aka Lakshmi but kesaviah refused his proposal and asked him for proof. Then Govindudu visited Kasi and prayed to Lord Vishnu to act as proof. Later Lord Vishnu acted as proof of keshaviah’s promise.

Dresses you have to wear when you are visiting this temple:-

• Pant and shirt, Dhoti or Pyjama for gents.
• Saree, 1/2-saree with jacket, churidar, or pajama with upper cloth for ladies.
• The pilgrims who will restrict to wear the above dresses will not get entry to go into the temple.
