About Tirumala Temple and Darshan Tickets 

The Tirumala Tirupati is a magnificent complex of old sculptures and carvings, and it is a very popular Hindu temple; 70,000 people visit Tirupati every day. On any given day, the sevas conducted to Lord Venkateswara’s presiding deity begins with Suprabatham, followed by Thomala, Archana, and then culminate with Ekanthaseva (not open to pilgrims). This sevas can feature an electronic lottery. But Darshan has none of these.

The term Seva refers to a ritual process performed for God, which can take place at the main temple or in the surrounding grounds, and is followed by darshan, which has limited tickets and is almost impossible for the common man to obtain unless you try online 90 days in advance, around 25 tickets are released 90 days in advance and are over in 4 to 5 minutes, and the rest are released 24 hours in advance at Tirumala, which also has a big Queue and people stand in Queue overnight for it

Seegra Darshan means normal. A few years ago, they established Seegra Darshan, for which they charge Rs. 300. However, not everyone is prepared to pay Rs. 300, thus that number is limited.

TTD Tirumala Special Entry Darshan and Seva Tickets Difference

• The primary distinction between Seva and Special Darshan is its cost. In Seva, you are expected to observe the events in a hall before to receiving darshan. The actual darshan duration is less for Seva.
• Different Sevas are priced differently. Sahastra Deepalankar Seva is the most affordable option, with tickets costing Rs. 200. The cost of a Special Entry Ticket is Rs. 300.
• The seva ticket permits attendance for approximately 45 minutes, after which darshan is permitted. The duration of the darshan is between 60 and 90 minutes. Special Entry Darshan lasts somewhat longer than two hours. Less time is spent in the actual line when using Seva.
• The pilgrims who reserved the seva can visit the temple and perform the seva to the Uthsav idol, which is maintained in the Vaibhavathsava mandapam. Many pilgrims believe that seva would be performed to Tirumala’s primary deity. However, the seva will be done at the temple Uthsav Idol, which is kept in the mandapam outside the temple grounds.
• The pilgrims who have a reservation for the seva must first report to the Mandapam and complete the seva. Then, the same ticket will grant access to the Darshan to all pilgrims. Please note that the seva will only be performed in a setting resembling a large assembly.
• The Special entrance Darshan in Tirumala allows travelers to book the Darshan, enter the line, and receive the Darshan.
